Johnny and Silent Bear stage a revolt of the POWs, shoot free, and hijack a German plane - but Silent Bear is mortally wounded. Still, Johnny wedges him in the cockpit, and feels Silent Bear steering the plane, shooting down the bombers, and forcing Johnny to parachute out as the stricken plane crashes.
