- Synopsis:
- Trenin leads a hunting party to the land of Nayado, home of warlord and Sigil-Bearer, Todosi. Kerspan, one of the Secundae, kills Todosi's soldiers after they attack the First, believing them to be a threat to Todosi. Todosi injures Kerspan, Seahn reveals that he has brought the Weapon of Atwaal, and Trenin gives the weapon to Kerspan so he can kill Todosi. Kerspan kills Todosi, but, in his death throes, Todosi kills Kerspan, transfers his sigil to his brother, Obo-san, and causes the Weapon of Atwaal to fall into Obo-san's hands.
