Spider Queen is a Golden Age character originally published by Fox Publications. Her adventures began in THE EAGLE #2 (September 1941) and ended in THE EAGLE #4 (January 1942). Decades after the character entered the public domain, Marvel Comics created their own version of Spider Queen. She was introduced as a hero-turned-villain in INVADERS (Marvel, 1993 series) #1-4, set in the year 1942. She is reintroduced in the year 1959 in this issue.
