Mike Richardson writes in his opening commentary that despite this being a new series of DHP the series is continuing from the previous print run and while this is issue #1 of the new series it is actually issue #158 of the overall series. As well, despite not being indicated in the indicia of this issue, this is considered volume 2 of the series and from issues 2 forward is indicated as such in the indicia with both the current series issue number and the long running issue number as well.
