Synopsis:
The new Superman, Man of Energy, is still testing his abilities as he prevents a truck from falling over the edge of a bridge. The newsroom is abuzz with information about the missing children being taken by 'The Ripper'. Star Labs thinks there may be a creature doing this not a person. Clark starts investigating the latest crime scene. Lois calls him to let him know Lucy, her sister, is missing. He volunteers, as Superman, to investigate the sewers. He discovers he can view things in a different spectrum and fine-tunes it to find the creature. Battle ensues and the creature gets away, without trying to harm Superman, more like it was reluctant to fight. He finds Lucy and more writing the creature is doing. Superman thinks the writing is not English, but symbols that mean something else. Superman is still trying to re-establish himself as the hero he was before.
