Blount and Luckner "partner up", but a wild man "ghost" haunts them, shooting golden bullets. Blueberry discovers the wild man is the REAL Baron Luckner, who found Coronado's map in a Dutch monastery and came for the gold, and was betrayed by his servant. "Luckner" dynamites the mesa down on our heroes, and dodges Apaches. But Blueberry and Jimmy nail him in New Orleans as he boards for Europe - now bound for the hangman's noose.
