Synopsis
Jonsey compares the war to ants fighting in the ground beneath them. When fighting breaks out the US soldiers are decimated until only Jonsey is left. He tries to run away but sees the ants and remembers like them, he cannot escape. He prepares himself for battle, facing the enemy hordes alone.

Synopsis
Walton believes most of what he hears about the enemy is propaganda. When he's injured in battle and an enemy officer bandages him up he begins to think he was right until he realizes he's going to be used as bait to entrap other soldiers. Hurling a signal torch into an ammo dump he causes an explosion which kills himself and his captors.
