This issue is a variant of Superman (DC, 2006 series) #714 [Direct].
"Printed by Transcontinental Interglobe, Beauceville, QC, Canada. 7/22/11."
Two covers were done for this issue; one featuring Superman flying high over farmland, and this alternate one featuring Superman flying over a city (10 issues for 1 issue mixture).
For every 10 copies of the standard edition, retailers were allowed to order one copy of this variant edition.
This cover was originally solicited to be the variant for issue 712, but due to the situation surrounding that issue, it was pulled from there, and DC announced via press release on 2011-07-11 that it would now be the variant cover for this issue. The originally solicited variant cover for this issue was going to be by Eddy Barrows.
Story continued from the previous issue.

A quick overview of The New 52 reboot is given, and the covers of the first issues of Action Comics, Superboy, Supergirl, and Superman are previewed.
