- Synopsis
- Newly divorced, Anna Solomon sets up a record-producing company in competition to her ex-husband and his brother. She soon finds a girl group to sign up, high school classmates of her daughter Ruthie. When the father of one of the girls objects, she and the girl's mother decide to create a demo record. But all this activity leaves Ruthie isolated.

- Synopsis
- Christina's father is impressed with the demo record, but still refuses to give his approval. A local radio station plays it on their "hit or miss" audience-response feature. It's a hit with everyone but Christina's father Luther, and Anna's daughter Ruthie.

- Synopsis
- The Tiaras' record attracts attention at home and abroad. Over Luther's objections, Anna and Lillian prepare the girls for a nationwide television appearance. Anna introduces songwriters Karen Prince and George Griffin, and finally recognizes that she is neglecting Ruthie. Ex-husband Abe visits the broadcast to wish Anna well, despite the fact that he and Ben have lost control of their own company. Despite his disapproval, Luther watches from home, and the show goes on.
