G.I. Joe [General Hawk; Gung-Ho; Sgt. Slaughter; Wet-Suit; Leatherneck; Beachhead; Roadblock; Rock N Roll; Spirit; Lady Jaye; Flint; Cross-Country; Quick-Kick]; General Hollingsworth (first appearance; death); Admiral Dyson (first appearance; death)); General Ryan (first appearance); Chaplain's assistants [Clarence; Cecil; Percy]; Cobra [Cobra Commander; Serpentor (leader); Destro; Dreadnoks [Zartan; Zandar; Zarana; Buzzer]; Eels; Cobra Troopers; B.A.T.S.]
Synopsis:
As the Joe team undergoes an investigation for the Springfield attack by three top brass from the Pentagon alongside Hawk, Cobra infiltrates Ft. Wadsworth and launches an assault on the Pit itself. Flint tells Lady Jaye to go to the other Joes and warn them of the assault as Eels make it nearby ashore as support. The Joe team defends the Pit on the outside from a Cobra force inside the motor pool that escapes, but the Pit is destroyed when explosives are set off, collapsing the Pit in on itself, trapping the Commander and Destro underneath. The surviving general then reinstates the Joes, telling Hawk his team is now a nomad unit, with no permanent headquarters, to which he agrees.
