Indexer Notes

The story repurposes Toth's pages from "The Case of the Curious Classic" that ran originally in Hot Wheels (DC, 1970 series) #5 (November-December 1970), with character names, dialogue, faces, and other minor art details modified to remove all references to the Hot Wheels property. The new title panel on the first page has a typical hand-drawn signature block by Toth that reads "(c) Alex Toth 88".
