Publisher and date information not found on copy of what is called by the Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide as "Weekly Comic Magazine" Version 3 (Captain Valor version). Note lack of the word "Free" in the Overstreet title. Information on publication date and publisher from the Overstreet Comic Book Price Guide #32, 2002.
Version 1 and Version 2, which were distributed through or intended for distribution through the Trenton Sunday Times are tracked as a separate "Weekly Comic Magazine" series at http://www.comics.org/series/11122/
This version's cover clearly states its title as Free Weekly Comic Magazine. It was distributed through Rogers Jewelry Stores in New England region.
There is ongoing controversy on how to classify this issue. The title, trade dress and format are extremely similar to the two issues with Fox content, but this issue, in addition to its different distribution, has content from M.L.J. (Archie). It is possible that a 3rd party either published both, drawing material from two publishers, or was a partner with each publisher separately in producing similar packages.
