Issue Notes

Adaptation of the NBC-TV movie that aired on May 6, 1990. Based on the teleplay by Evan Katz. Story has many flashback sequences and features two styles of art: the adult years done in realistic style by Gene Colan and the flashbacks done in "Archie" style by Stan Goldberg and Mike Esposito. Synopsis
As the gang meets for their reunion, Pop Tate stands up to the bulldozers and is soon joined by Archie, Betty, Veronica and Jughead. Archie breaks up with Pam, and Veronica tells off her father, who then uses his controlling influence to stop the bulldozers. Unfortunately, his chauffeur has placed a bomb at the site, and it takes Archie and Reggie working together to get rid of it. Finally, despite all their changes, the gang decides to stay in Riverdale.
