Classics Illustrated

Reprints from the Gilberton Classics Illustrated series with a few new titles (#59, 61 & 62). Titles are not numbered except as part of the ISBN which coincides with their publication order. Announced in 1996, the series first saw distribution of four issues in February 1997. The first few issues have 1996 copyright dates. However, the actual cover dates can be determined from the publication schedule found on the inside back cover or inside front cover of each issue. The series collapsed in early-1998 and many announced titles were never printed.
