In 1952 the publishing house decided to launch a new fortnightly Tex series in the 17x24 cm format, similar to that of the Mondadori Albi d’Oro and therefore defined by collectors “Tex Albo d’Oro”.
The "Tex Albo d'Oro" are divided into 8 series for a total of 205 published numbers.
In the first six series, we have the above format for a price of £ 50.
Each book contained the stories printed in three previous strips up to 36 pages.
The titles of these series are the same as the strips of which they constitute the reprint; so in the cover, in addition to the Tex logo, there are three titles.
The last two series are instead characterized by a reduced format, they present, in each album, two episodes of TEX and a serial story of GIUBBA ROSSA, price brought to £ 30 and new titles.
