Synopsis
Cuirass and Farren search for the Fallen Star, one of the largest gems of all time, buried in the tomb of King Greagor. A fairy helps them get into the haunted tomb, where they battle the corpse of King Greagor. After defeating the king and retrieving the diamond, the fairy steals the gem and disappears.

Synopsis
Silver, M'Taya, Hreena, Lirain, and Kristen have all been contacted by Coral Mustin. Coral was arrested the previous year on slavery charges. She and her cell-mate, the shatuctor ("face-changer") named Thandra Chee, have escaped the prison on Grettlin, and have a plan to get everyone off-planet. They meet at the Anchorage Bar in Grett City. With the women's help, Coral takes back her ship, the Nightbird, and they all escape from Grettlin.
