A mimeographed zine published using (for obvious reasons) the nome de plume "F.S." The strips originally appeared in Gilbert Shelton's fanzine "The" before being collected here. Arguably the first ever underground comic. An extremely limited number were printed; a small handful survive to this day. Much of the artwork was reconfigured when the stories were reprinted in "The Austin Iconoclastic Newsletter" and "The New Adventures of Jesus" (Rip Off Press, 1969).
Reprinted first in 1963 and then in 1978 as a "facsimile edition."
It's still unclear exactly which year this was published. Most sources state 1962 or 1963. In a foreword to "The New Adventures of Jesus: The Second Coming" (Fantagraphics, 2006), Gilbert Shelton gives the year as 1964.
