Synopsis
After an encounter with Novyj Soviet, Power Girl and Magog's team of JSAers dedicate themselves to more training and picking a name for themselves. Later, when holding a press conference to announce their new team, Arthur Pemberton and his Strike Force attack and kidnap Stargirl for their employer, Johnny Sorrow.

Synopsis
While the JSA regroups and organizes its search for Stargirl, Arthur Pemberton tries to up his price for turning Courtney over to Johnny Sorrow, resulting in a war between Pemberton's Strike Force and Sorrow's Injustice Society. Soon after the JSA arrives on the scene, Stargirl frees herself and the Injustice Society beats a hasty retreat. Meanwhile, Sand fights the pull of sleep as long as he can, but finally succumbs, and witnesses the rise of The King of Tears.

Synopsis
In the wake of their encounter with the Injustice Society, the JSA All-Stars train for their next meeting, but Magog and Power Girl disagree on method, and Magog stomps off. Synopsis
The All-Stars confront the Injustice Society just as they raise the King of Tears. To save them all, Stargirl goes off with Johnny Sorrow, leaving the remaining heroes and villains to face the monstrosity, and finds herself in the subtle realms, face-to-face with an old friend.

Synopsis
The All-Stars are saved from the King of Tears by the timely arrival of a new friend, Anna Fortune. Meanwhile, Stargirl and Atom-Smasher quest for a way out of the Subtle Realms and grow closer. Just as the pair seem to be about to escape, Anna Fortune attempts to transport the All-Stars to the Subtle Realms but something goes terribly wrong.

Synopsis
Instead of bringing the All-Stars to the Subtle Realms, Anna Fortune has accidentally brought the Subtle Realms to them, including the King of Tears. Meanwhile, Johnny Sorrow reveals to Stargirl that because he needed a kiss of true love from an innocent to reverse his condition, he took Atom-Smasher's place and made Courtney fall in love with him. But when King Chimera turns Sorrow's own power against him, Sorrow gives Stargirl the means to kill the King of Tears and send Sorrow and the Subtle Realms back where they belong.
