Synopsis
While Alpha Flight battles Mr. Hyde, Northstar finds a baby abandoned in a trash can. He applies for temporary guardianship but learns that she is dying of AIDS. Former Canadian superhero Major Mapleleaf, warped by the death of his gay son, attacks Northstar in the hospital for illogical resentments. Later, to heighten awareness of the AIDS crisis, Northstar announces publicly that he is gay.
