This comic is based on an Australian source which is a significant reworking of three Sunday newspaper strips (King Features Syndicate):
- S030: The Metropolis in Space (Planet Platter) (25/3/1951 – 4/11/1951);
- S031: The Wonderful Meteor (11/11/1951 – 8/6/1952); and
- S032: Coral Labyrinth (15/6/1952 – 1/2/1953).
Paul Norris and Lew Schwartz ghosted some of these stories. The last two pages of this issue are confirmed to be reprints from 25 January and 1 February 1952.
