The art is redrawn from the Aubert 1839 first bootleg.
According to David Kunzle, the drawings show different hands at work and some of the often free translations exhibit ingenuity of their own. There are four pages less than the Aubert plagiary.
It is very likely that one of the Cruikshanks, or both, translated the story.
