Synopsis
Brian Kinney arrives in Astro City and finds a job at Bruiser's, a bar "costumes" frequent. The owner, seeing something more in Brian, helps him get a job at a classier place, Butler's. When Glue-Gun crashes through the skylight there and tries to make Brian a hostage, Brian knocks him out, drawing the ire of his fellow busboys, but also the attention of the Confessor.

Synopsis
Altar Boy continues his training, as the public becomes increasingly anxious about the Shadow Hill murders. The mayor of Astro City brings in monster-killer Mordecai Chalk and makes plans to register the superhumans.
