Linda Strauss first appeared in Doctor Fate (DC, 1987 series) #1 (July 1987). She first merged with Eric Strauss to form Doctor Fate in Doctor Fate (DC, 1987 series) #4 (October 1987). Linda first became Doctor Fate on her own in Doctor Fate (DC, 1988 series) #8 (July 1989). Linda and Nabu joined together to form Doctor Fate in Doctor Fate (DC, 1988 series) #21 (October 1990) and #22 (November 1990). Linda died in Doctor Fate (DC, 1988 series) #24 (January 1991).
