- Description:
- The original Wally West, the son of Rudolph and Mary West, nephew of Iris West, became the first Kid Flash, first appearing in The Flash (DC, 1959 series) #110 December 1959-January 1960. Later after the death of Barry Allen during Crisis on Infinite Earths, Wally became the Flash. He later married Linda Park and they had two children: Jai West and Iris "Irey" West.
Not to be confused with the modern African-American Wally West, the son of Daniel West, who became the modern Kid Flash during the New 52 era, first appearing in The Flash Annual #3 in 2014. The second Wally West is referred to more frequently as Wallace West in more recent years.
