First appearance in Action Comics (DC, 1938 series) #1 (June 1938) by Fred Guardineer. The Artemis entry in Who's Who: Update '87 (DC, 1987 series) #1 states that this Tigress was the mother of Paula Brooks, the Tigress of the Young All-Stars. However, the Appendix in Who's Who: Update '87 #5 corrects this statement and clarifies that the Zatara foe was unrelated to Paula Brooks or her daughter Artemis Crock.
