Born: year? month? day? in United States?
Biography: Afro-American letterer Holloway worked primarily for Timely/Atlas/Marvel, at least from 1960, but possibly beginning as a freelancer during the late 1950s monster era. His last known work appeared at Marvel from the mid-1970s until (cover date) March 1982 in 'Spidey Super Stories'.
Bails reports Holloway also worked for Western Publishing's Gold Key imprint (1962-68), King Comics (1966-1967) and DC Comics (1968-1970). Some work was also printed by Charlton (1970) from Gold Key inventory.
Notes: Bails' Who's Who reports Holloway used the pen name "Sherigail", but Nick Caputo says this is Morrie Kuramoto using an amalgam of his wife and daughter's names (https://nick-caputo.blogspot.com/2012/01/attention-paid-lettering-skills-o…).
