Biography: William De Grouchy was an editor for Street and Smith's pulp and comic book line in the 1930s and 1940s and promotions director for pulp magazine line during the 1930s.

Prior to his time with Street and Smith, De Grouchy worked for the Curtis Publishing Company, known to have been an assistant sales manager for the company in 1917.

By the 1905s and up to his death in 1954, William was the owner of William J. deGrouchy & Son publishing.
