Biography: Torbjørn Lien is a comics creator who works in strips, comics, and animation.

He appeared in his school paper and began his professional career in his hometown newspaper. He contributed to humor magazines such as “Kosta” and Kraftig kost” from the late 1980s.

He created the role-playing game Imperium 3000 in the late 1990s and created the literary fantasy “Ácin Dambágin” (Løvehulen, 1999–2001).

He created animated short films in the late 1990s that show on television and was an animation instructor at Volda University (1998–2010).

He is known for ‘Kollektivet’, a feature about people living in a collective. It ran in “Larsons gale verden” (“Larson’s Mad World”, which reprints ‘The Far Side’; 2000–2008) and then got its own series. It also appears in newspapers and is reprinted in annual collections.
