Biography: Paul Green began his art career fresh out of Oldham Art College in 1974 at World Distributors, Manchester working as a staff artist on such annual titles as Star Trek, Doctor Who, Alias Smith and Jones and Terry Nation's Daleks. As a freelance artist Green has illustrated various annual and comic book titles from World Distributors, Egmont UK, Burghley Publishing, Stafford Pemberton and Grandreams.
Titles include Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Masters of the Universe, Terrahawks, Centurions, Battle Beasts, Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, Happy Days, Dukes of Hazzard, Scooby-Doo, Popeye and Tom and Jerry.
In 2001 Green co-wrote and published "Green's Guide to Collecting TV, Music and Comic Book Annuals." Green has worked as a writer for McFarland & Co. Inc. since 2006, including two books that include extensive comic book coverage of titles in the Weird West and Weird War genres. "Encyclopedia of Weird Westerns" (2016 Second Edition) and "Encyclopedia of Weird War Stories" (2017).
