He was the co-Creator of Warhead and Dai Kamikaze: Man in the Moon.

Augustyn did support work in production for True Fiction Publications (Tru Studios) as an editor from 1986 to 1987.
He did support work in production for Now Comics as an editor from 1987 to 1988.
He also did support work in production for DC Comics as a colorist from 1990 to 1991, an associate editor from 1988 to 1989, an assistant editor in 1989, and as an editor from 1989 to 1996.
Augustyn did support work in production as an editor for Event Comics in 1996.
He did support work as editor-in-chief for Markosia Publishing in 2007.
He also did support work as an editor for White Cat Entertainment in 2021.

Notes: Augustyn's family reports that he died two days after the stroke. His death was at a hometown hospital.
