Biography: Erio Nicolò studied graphics at the Regio istituto d'arte. He made his debut in the weekly comics by the publisher Nerbini 'Giungla!' and 'L'Avventuroso' in 1939.
After the war he illustrated series such as 'Forza John' (from 1949), 'Prince Chiomadoro' (from 1952), 'I Laramy della Valle' and 'Karate il Lupo Bianco' for the Casa Universe publishing house, in collaboration with the writer Luigi Grecchi.
For the studio of Roy D'Amy, he drew 'Battler Britton' for the English market.
From 1964 until his death in 1983, he drew 'Tex Willer' for the publisher Sergio Bonelli.
