Biography: Erio Nicolò studied graphics at the Regio istituto d'arte. He made his debut in the weekly comic by the publisher Nerbini 'L'Avventuroso' with the series 'Le due orfanelle' in 1939.
After the war he illustrated series such as 'Forza John' (from 1949), 'Chiomadoro, il Principe del Sogno' (from 1952), 'I Laramy della valle' and 'Karate il Lupo Bianco' for the Casa Editrice Universo, in collaboration with the writer Luigi Grecchi.
For the studio of Roy D'Amy, he drew 'Battler Britton' for the English market.
From 1964 until his death in 1983, he drew 'Tex Willer' for the publisher Sergio Bonelli.
