Biography: W. W. Denslow is best known for his illustration of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, by L. Frank Baum. He also created the comic strip, Billy Bounce (McClure Syndicate) Sunday only strip. Denslow wrote, penciled, and inked the comic strip from 1901-11-10 - 1905-12-03.
