Biography: Al Bertino was an animator who wrote some Disney comic characters for the international market in the 1960s. He also teamed up with fellow animator Dick Kinney, to do comics, probably for Disney as well.

Before his time as an animator, Bertino worked as an illustrator and cartoonist, creating covers for the Los Angeles Times magazine, "Home".
