Biography: Jerk Sander was a Swedish publisher, series creator and translator.

During the 1970s and 1980s, he worked as a translator at Bonnierförlagen, where he mainly translated French-language comic books (Lucky Luke, The Black Stallion and The Great Adventures) and children's and youth literature.

As a writer, he wrote the script for the serial version of Biggles in the first half of the 1980s, with drawings by Stig Stjernvik.

He is the father of the doctor and translator Kåre Persson.
