Biography: Weiss worked as an assistant to letterer Tom Orzechowski.

David Cody Weiss did support work as a letterer for DC from 1983 to 1989, Pacific Comics from 1983 to 1984, Eclipse Comics from 1983 to 1985, Marvel from 1983 to 1985, First Comics from 1985 to 1990, Comico during 1986, Renegade Press during 1987, and for Disney Comics from 1990 to 1992.

Also for Disney Comics, Weiss did support work as an assistant editor during 1990 and an editor during 1991. He also translated international Disney comics for the U.S. market, including Dinosaurs from 1992 onward, Goof Troop during 1992, Mickey Mouse from 1990 to 1991, and Sebastian during 1991.

From circa 1983 to circa 1984, Weiss did support work as a researcher for Marvel on The Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe (1983 series).

Notes: The Orzecody pen name was used by Weiss in work done in conjunction with Tom Orzechowski.
