Biography: McDuffie worked for Marvel, from 1988 to 1993, including support work as an assistant editor for special projects in 1989. He worked for Harvey Comics, from 1991 to 1992.

McDuffie then worked for DC, during 1992, when he then moved in support work as editor in chief for the DC imprint, Milestone Media, from 1992 to 1997. McDuffie had a brief stay at Acclaim / Valiant Comics in 1998, then continued doing work for DC, from 1999 to 2000. He returned to work under the Milestone imprint in 2001, with more DC work in 2002 and 2003.

McDuffie finished his career with work at Marvel from 2004 to 2006, and DC again from 2007 and 2008.

Notes: McDuffie used the pen name Denton Fixx in conjunction with Adam Blaustein and Matt Wayne.
