Biography: Kåre Persson was a Swedish physician, cartoonist and a long-time translator of the French comic series Lucky Luke. Starting in 1973, when Persson's father, Boris Persson, was the publisher of the series' Swedish publisher, Albert Bonniers, and asked his son to translate his first album. He then continued as main translator until Bonniers completed his Lucky Luke release in 1989.
