Steven Rowe provided the information originally to Jerry Bails' on this creator's signed work. He can confirm it is not Frank Frollo. Instead he believes it was likely to be one of the King Features bullpen artists that, along with the New York animators, were doing some work for Pines (via Sangor Studio) at this time. This was before Sangor employee Jim Davis (born 1915) finished moving from Miami to Los Angeles.
