Biography: Georges Wolinski meurt le 7 janvier 2015 à Paris, abattu par des terroristes islamistes lors de l’attentat contre "Charlie Hebdo" qui décima sa rédaction.
Il est incinéré et ses cendres sont inhumées au cimetière du Montparnasse le 15 janvier 2015.
Par arrêté du 1er septembre 2015, la mention "Victime du terrorisme" est inscrite sur son acte de décès.
[Georges Wolinski died on 7 January 2015 in Paris, shot dead by Islamist terrorists during the attack on "Charlie Hebdo" which decimated its editorial staff.
He was cremated and his ashes were buried in the Montparnasse cemetery on 15 January 2015.
By order of 1 September 2015, the mention "Victim of terrorism" is registered on his death certificate.]
