Albert is listed as an editor on American Comics Group funny animals titles from the end of 1943 to 1945. Albert himself confirmed he never did any actual editing in comic books. The actual editor for these titles was Richard Hughes.

Jerry Albert's father was Andrew Albert, the owner of Creston Publications, the official company name of the American Comics Group. Andrew Albert sold Creston when it was only a pulp publisher before it published comic books.
