Notes:
Keats did pencil and ink work for the studio, possibly in 1941 and definitely in 1942 and up to his enlistment in the U.S. Army in April 1943.

Jerry Bails' Who's Who inadvertently credits this studio job to Ezra Jackson.

Bails' Who's Who and a digitized picture from the Ezra Jack Keats Collection at the University of Southern Mississippi shows Keats working in a studio with Mark Swayze, C.C. Beck, and Dave Berg drawing Captain Marvel stories. The artwork showing indicates the work was done in 1942, confirming Keats employment for Beck-Costanza Studio at least in 1942 and 1943 (see: https://usm.access.preservica.com/uncategorized/IO_c862af24-fad0-4f42-afac…, retrieved 19 March 2021).
