Notes:
Danny Dingle was a daily and Sunday comic strip created by Bernard Dibble that started in the New York Mirror on July 29, 1924, as Wooden Shoe. On January 26, 1925, the comic strip changed its name to Eustace. On August 6, 1925, the comic strip finally became known as Danny Dingle. Newspapers often shortened the name of the comic strip to just Danny.

The strip ended syndication in 1938 but would receive a brief second life in United Feature comics, appearing in various comic book titles for the company from 1936 to 1942.

Dingle was distributed by several syndicates. The New York Mirror syndicated the comic strip from July 29, 1924, to 1925. King Features Syndicate distributed the strip from 1925 to 1928. The next syndicate was the Graphic Syndicate, from 1928 to 1931 and then World Feature Service, from 1931 to December 31, 1932. The last distributor of the comic strip was United Feature Syndicate, from January 1, 1933, to 1938.
