Notes:
Character created as Nyoka Meredith for the 1941 Republic Pictures movie serial "Jungle Girl" which was based on a story by Edgar Rice Burroughs (but the character was not in Burroughs's original story).
Then Republic reimagined the character slightly as Nyoka Gordon for the 1942 serial "Perils of Nyoka".
Fawcett published Nyoka Gordon stories from 1942 to 1953.
Charlton bought the rights from Fawcett and published stories from 1955 to 1957.
The character and stories have fallen into public domain and have been reprinted by various publisher like
AC, Gwandanaland, and Mini-Komix.
