Comic Corporation of America began in 1939 as the second company publishing comics in the Centaur Group, and the first that Joseph Hardie and Raymond Kelly founded together. In 1941, the company began publishing risqué humor comics targeted at military servicemen, which is when it becomes relevant to the Hardie-Kelly publisher grouping as we have organized things on the GCD.

While the Centaur comic line petered out in early 1942, Comic Corporation of America continued to publish humor titles through at least 1946. After that, its ongoing titles switched to other companies in this grouping.
