- George is always lending money to anyone who asks for a handout, even when he knows it is a scam. Joy loves him, but often ends up sharing meals with strangers or forgoing a movie because George doesn't have enough money. But Joy reaches her breaking point when he lends away the money they were planning to use for a deposit on a house.
