The antibody is "dying" and has Huebner return it to Randy at the Clinic, but when they get there the antibody disintegrates as soon as it emerges from Huebner. Dave, hunted by the agents, collapses in the woods of Wisconsin after being hit by numerous tranquilizer darts. He is found by "the Woodsman" and recovers after being brought to the hunter's cabin.
