That is, until Death Wish's boss (who looks an awful lot like Dr. Doom) shows up and fries his lackey for goofing off. To make matters worse, it turns out that Death Wish isn't Wade Wilson, Death Mask is. In retaliation, Deadpool starts knocking off all of Death Mask's goons and then makes a play for the big boss himself. Deadpool takes out Death Mask and, since he happens to be Wade Wilson too, replaces him as the kingpin of crime.
