- Synopsis
- Betty and Gary met on holiday while he was exploring a cave. He lived in Manchester and she lived in London, but for a year afterward they arranged to meet for a day once a month in Coventry. Gary proposes to her, but isn't sure since they are still strangers in many ways. She asks him to think about it and if he decides to become engaged, he will come to her party the following week. Otherwise, all he had to do is send a telegram.
