- When attempting to repair his television set, Donald accidentally crosses the wires and causes it to receive TV signals from all over the world, including a clear image of two thieves, who have just recently stolen a valuable painting, "The Last Rose" by Hoodinkle Van Hood, from the local museum. Donald and his nephews then set out to catch the thieves in the hope to collect a reward.

- When Donald interrupts his nephews playing a game of Cowboys and Indians in his house, he is accidentally hit by two arrows with plungers that adhere to his head, due to the glue on the plunger ends of the arrows. When attempting to remove the arrows from Donald's head, they discover that the glued arrows are stuck tight and won't budge leaving Donald to be stuck with them until the arrows can eventually be removed.
