- Synopsis
- Dilly tries to find a way to get $5 so he can take Carol to the dance. Dilly gets the $5 from Hoppy by trying to keep Gruesome Jones from taking Dilly's sister Nancy to the dance. (But Gruesome ends up going with Nancy anyway.) Meanwhile, crooked furnace repairmen damage the Duncans' furnace so they'll have to buy a new one from them.

- Synopsis
- Dilly and Marvin help the new neighbors move in. Noticing the move-in is supervised by a pretty girl named Sue, Gruesome also volunteers his services. Thinking his work would land him a date with the girl, Dilly calls at the home and gets a date with their daughter Sue, who turns out to be just a little girl. The girl supervising the moving was the family's daughter-in-law, also named Sue. Dilly tricks Gruesome into taking his date with the pre-teen, but ends up with Carol mad at him.
